  • "Holding Time" by Scott Albrecht is the first design in the Tornado™ Artist Edition Series. The pen features an acid-etched barrel with printed details to create this tactile design, finished with a glossy coating and matching black accents. This is a limited edition ballpoint pen of 500 pieces, with the serial number engraved on the top ring. On the top, there is an hourglass logo reflecting the name and concept of this special product. Finally, it is packaged in a matching graphic tube containing a signed certificate of authenticity inside the packaging.

Scott says the following about this release: "When I think about the moments I use a pen or pencil, I realize that what I am doing in those moments is preserving my time and context by recording a moment of thought, contemplation, or idea. In my work, I use an abstract approach to typography to bring a work to life, taking the letterforms from a work's title and creating a new visual language based on these characters. The work here uses an abstract interpretation of the letterforms in HOLDING TIME, reflecting the consciousness and act of preserving the intangible values of our time."
