This cover invites you to imagine walking through the winding lanes that are home to the weavers of Varanasi, India. Once there were as many as 300,000 weavers in the region, but today there are no more than 40,000. We named it Ferozi, inspired by the word for "turquoise" in Urdu.

Paperblanks is a Canadian manufacturer that produces quality journals that are not only attractive but also extremely well-structured, bound using traditional techniques; the bindings are not glued (a binding technique that is economical for the manufacturer but eventually leads to page loss) but are instead all sewn.
All Paperblanks journals are bound using two methods. They are either hand-sewn using 'Coptic' binding, which dates back to 4th-century Egypt, or Smyth sewn, the most durable binding technique, which allows the journal to open flat without page loss.
All Paperblanks journals use acid-free, archival-quality, high-opacity laid writing paper. Their journals also feature a ribbon marker and an interior pocket inside the back cover to store your notes.
