Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890) was one of the great Post-Impressionist painters. After moving to the town of Arles in 1888, he began experimenting with still-life works he called his "colour studies." We are honoured to partner with the Barnes Foundation to add one of Van Gogh's most beautiful still-life works to our collection.

Paperblanks is a Canadian manufacturer that produces quality journals that are not only attractive but also extremely well-structured, bound using traditional techniques; the bindings are not glued (a technique that is economical for the manufacturer but eventually leads to page loss) but are instead all sewn.
All Paperblanks journals are bound using one of two methods. They are either hand-sewn using 'Coptic' binding, which dates back to 4th-century Egypt, or Smythe sewn, which is the most durable binding technique and allows the journal to lay flat without page loss.
All Paperblanks journals use acid-free, archival-quality, and high-opacity laid writing paper. Their journals also include a ribbon marker and an interior pouch inside the back cover for storing your notes.
