St. Petersburg

In 1900, a technologist from England, Julius Fridlender, was invited to Saint Petersburg, Russia, to establish a paint factory. In 1934, the factory was converted into the Leningrad Artistic Paint Factory by employees of the Tretyakov Art Gallery, marking a first in Soviet Russia. The paints produced in this workshop were used in the restoration of many iconic architectural structures.
Currently, the St. Petersburg brand, which is the market leader in Russia and the Baltic countries, was born as a continuation of this workshop. It took the name St. Petersburg after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
For several generations, St. Petersburg paints and auxiliary materials have brought life to the works of many artists, primarily in Russia and its surrounding regions, as well as in Germany, England, and America. Introduced to Turkey by Panter Kırtasiye in 2008, the brand continues to serve artists in Turkey.
