It was known for its heavy armament and capable ground attack, serving successfully in air-to-air combat. Its sturdy construction allowed it to withstand combat damage and remain airworthy. The Tornado mimics the P-47 with its acid-etched rivets and panels on the barrel, painted in striking red, yellow, and green colors. It is adorned with the nose art of the 352nd Fighter Group's P-47 named "Dallas Blonde" and completed with antique silver trim and matching checkered finial.
