Vincent van Gogh's Wheat Field with Cypresses painting joins the Retro51 x The Met collection. Cypresses gained ground in Van Gogh's work when he decided to devote one of his first series in Saint-Rémy toward the end of June 1889 to the tall trees. Van Gogh considered this painting one of his "best" summer landscapes and was asked to make two studio versions in September. This painting, along with another vertical composition, is part of The Met collection among many other van Gogh paintings.

Retro51 is honored to present this new rollerball pen based on the master artist's groundbreaking work. Multiple layers of screen printing were applied onto a stainless steel barrel to recreate this artwork, framed with polished brass accents. The Met logo is engraved on the top ring and finished with a numbered top disc. This pen comes in a commemorative packaging tube that also doubles as a pen stand when not in use. Add a Van Gogh to your writing collection and discover new creativity at your fingertips.
