Ancient Greek pottery offers a fascinating window into the past of a lost culture. Here, we feature a red-figure volute-krater made between 415–400 BC in a Greek colony in Southern Italy. While the front depicts a gathering of gods, the twin deities Apollo and Artemis are at the center of the scene.

Paperblanks is a Canadian manufacturer that produces quality notebooks that are not only attractive but also extremely well-structured and bound using traditional techniques; the bindings are not glued (a binding technique that is economical for the manufacturer but eventually leads to page loss), but instead, they are all sewn.
All Paperblanks notebooks are bound using two methods. They are either hand-sewn using 'Coptic' binding, which originated in 4th-century Egypt, or Smythe sewn, which is the most durable binding technique and allows the notebook to open flat without losing pages.
All Paperblanks notebooks use acid-free, archival-quality, high-opacity, fine laid writing paper. Their notebooks also feature a ribbon bookmark and an interior pocket inside the back cover for storing your notes.
